June Victory is one of the most scorching guitarists to ever sling an axe. His work with the Wild Magnolias and with his own most famous band, the Bayou Renegades, captivated thousands of listeners across the globe. His local sets in New Orleans are the stuff of legend.

Now Victory, who has led a life unlike any other, is the subject of a new book, The Return of Cabbage Alley: Stories of June Victory. The book was written by Thomas Brent Andrews who did numerous interviews with Victory and quotes him extensively.
